The first full moon after Summer Solstice is known in Yoga circles as “Guru Purnima.” It is a day of gratitude, and a beneficial time for spiritual practice.

As with every Full Moon, it is a time when events, projects and developing situations come to a head. This month the focus is on our family roots and relationships. The lunar light shines on new possibilities and finding the courage to open the doors of change… We also remember to cherish the “little things” in life – that happiness is not at the end of a rainbow, it is around us, inside us, in the moment, here and now…
