…And once the storm is over, you won’t remember how you made it through, how you managed to survive. You won’t even be sure in fact if the storm really is over; but one thing is certain… When you come out of the storm you won’t be the same person who walked in.
On your journey through life there will times when troubled feelings threaten to blow you off course. At such times sit quietly in meditation and be aware of the storm. Watch the waves of negative thoughts and feelings as they wash over you. Accept their presence rather than trying to avoid them.
By observing the turbulence, rather than identifying with it, you move into the eye of the storm – the stillness at its centre.
From this vantage point watch the storm gradually abate, replaced by the clear skies of a relaxed mind; your mantra 'My intuition is the sensitive radar of the spirit. With its aid I can be guided on a true course through any storm.'
