A note from Yasmin

"My teaching of yoga genuinely reflects my love of life. I believe my students should always enjoy their practice. It is a time to smile and share vibrations of laughter as well as silent peaceful communication with oneself.

My maturity and life experience creates empathy with each student and gives integrity to the session. A thorough warm-up enables students to achieve asanas previously thought of as unattainable.

I teach guided meditation using images and breathing techniques to liberate and soothe the mind.

In each class I draw upon the benefits of many yogic styles, teaching a primarily Vinyasa based flow.

Each practice is unique in combining asanas, pranayama and meditation, tapping into the varying and particular needs of my students.

My personal offerings in meditation, movement and musings serve to expand horizons, encouraging anyone interested in their own growth to find new ways of discovery. Find your own authentic expression within a mix of alignment, freedom of practise, laughter and spirituality.

...Yoga works because it plays the music of the rhythm of your heart, the symphony of your soul..."

Your first class

If you’ve never been to yoga before remember that everybody has to have a first class! Simply come along with an open mind wearing clothes that allow you to move easily, A bottle of water and a warm layer to put on after class. Always try to leave two hours between your last meal and the beginning of Yoga practice.

During the class

Classes are open to all levels so that so that you can choose the appropriate options for you. If you know the poses, go ahead and try the more advanced postures. If you’re new, listen to the instruction and your body to safely ease yourself into the flow.

After the class

It’s important to stay hydrated so be sure to have water at hand for when your body wishes. After class you might find that you’re really hungry, or not at all, listen to your body and refuel with healthy food as you need. A good tip is to enjoy a snack  within an hour of finishing, to keep blood sugars balanced.
